3: 4th Annual Bull Fest '08 - Nocona Chisholm Trail Arena.
Starts at 8:00 PM and sponsored by the Nocona Rotary Club, Dale Lyons and Big L Rodeo Company bring a professional approach to each performance and The Locke Bucking Bulls also will have stock at the Bull Fest.
Books open April 28 from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Average winners receive a pair of boots donated by Montague County Company. Ultimate Oilfield Service presents a $500 added.
Open Barrel Race entry fee is $70 draw posted @ 7:30 p.m.

Location: Benton Park - Lake Nocona
Youth Fishing Tournament - NO Entry Fee.
Youth ages 1-15 will be divided into three age groups.
Prizes awarded for first, second and third in the following classes: big fish, little fish and most fish.
Hotdogs and drinks provided after awards.
Registration available online and day of event at Benton Park on Lake Nocona.

13 - 14: 56th Annual Chisholm Trail Rodeo Round-Up and Parade
Location: Nocona's Chisholm Trail Rodeo Arena - Hwy 175 (Montague Hwy) - South of Downtown - 8:00 PM
This year marks the 150th birthday celebration of Montague County and we will be celebrating this milestone during the rodeo and parade.

4: All Day Celebration
Saint Jo will be holding a 4th of July all day celebration as a part of the sesquicentennial of Montague County.
August
2: Montague County’s 150th Birthday celebration
Montague County’s Birthday celebration will be held around the Montague County courthouse. There will be a birthday cake and a party with each town in the county.
After the party each town is encouraged to go to Saint Jo via horseback, wagon, foot, or car for a county wide parade.
End the day at Saint Jo’s annual Rodeo.
